Morphological, anatomical and physiological characteristics of tolerance to drought for peach, pear and apple trees

摘要

Peach, pear and apple trees were selected to determine their tolerance to drought on the basis of their morphological, anatomical and physiological characteristics. This study showed that apple tree is a water demanding species whereas peach and pear are less water demanding and more drought-tolerant.
