JOHN ABBOTT COLLEGE, MONTREALTENURE-TRACK POSITION IN HISTORY AND CLASSICS

The Department of History and Classics at John Abbott College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor. The successful candidate shall begin teaching as a paternity leave cover on 26 March – April 2018, and will then assume their own course load in the Fall 2018 semester. Although the geographical and chronological focus is open, the Department is particularly interested in candidates who specialise in the history of Greece and/or Rome. The ability to teach Latin at all levels will be considered an asset.
