With the July 1973 issue of the Bulletin Harold Bloomquist ended more than seven years of close affiliation with the editorial activities of the Medical Library Association. Under his guidance the Bulletin has flourished. His stewardship of MLA's distinguished publication can fairly be called literate and sensitive. The Association is indebted to Harold Bloomquist for his long service to the Bulletin, and I am personally in his debt for his generous considerateness in making the editorial transition as easy as possible.
