MORTIMER TAUBE

Dr. Mortimer Taube, Chairman of the Board and founder of Documentation, Inc., died in Annapolis, Maryland, on September 3, 1965. Dr. Taube attended Rutgers, Harvard, and Chicago universities and received his Ph.D. from the University of California. He worked in the libraries of Mills College and Harvard and Duke universities, served as director of several research dlivisions of the Library of Congress, and was a lecturer indocumentation at the University of Chicago and Columbia University. He was the author of Computers and Common Sense and many contributions to the periodical literature. Dr. Taube is survived by his wife, Bernice, a son, Donald, and two daughters, Miss Deborah Taube and Mrs. George C. Schwelling.
