Mrs. Hunt: We had hoped to have with us this morning Miss Elizabeth Runge of the University of Texas School of Medicine Librarywho was to conduct this meeting. Unfortunately, because of disability, Miss Runge will not be with us. Our sympathy is with Miss Runge and we regret her absence. But she has kindly prepared for us an interesting program which we shall follow. First on this program is a discussion of Inter-Library Loans by Miss Theresa Beckman, Librarian of Marquette University, School of Medicine and Dentistry. Again I am sorry to report that Miss Beckman is not with us. I shall therefore open the discussion by telling you of the procedure followed in the Bio-Medical Libraries of the University of Chicago.
