Inverter control makes sense for batch neater plant

By adding inverter speed control to the exhaust fans on two new three-ton asphalt batch heater plants, Mixlance has achieved substantial energy savings and reduced greenhouse gas emissions sufficiently to attract EU LIFE funding for the project. Described as Europe's most technologically advanced batch heater, it delivers 80 tons of coated material per hour, while being more compact, faster, quieter, cleaner and more economical that all previous plants.
