Nesting capabilities within Vero Software's Radan sheet metal CAD/CAM application has proved so successful for Altex Engineering that the company has created a new role for a shop floor worker dealing almost exclusively with this aspect of its operations. Martin Brewer now controls all nesting for the sheet metal subcontractor on Altex Engineering's Salvagnini fibre laser and LVD punch press.
