His shipping career includes US company Lykes Lines, Danish shipping company Nordana, and French company Delmas/Bollore Group. Mr. Bezdek currently serves as the Director of Trade Development for the Port of Beaumont and is responsible for international sales, as well as real estate expansion and development. The number one strategic military outload port in the nation, the Pott of Beaumont has been an NDTA member since 1988 and is home to the 842nd Transportation Battalion.
