With FY07, the U.S. government changed its reporting standards for federal contracts. All the procurement data have migrated to the Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation (FPDS-NG). The new reporting standards will now allow searches beyond the top 100. Under FPDS-NG, millions of contract records and transactions from 2000 to the present are now available in a searchable format. FPDS-NG is now the official Web site for all federal procurement data and reports. The FPDS-NG site requires registration for a user account and is free to the public. USASpending.gov (which is a bit easier to navigate) requires no registration.
