The MiG-29 is one of the last Russian fighter aircraft of the Soviet era still flying operationally. As well as service with the Russian Air Force and the Indian Navy, for which the MiG-29K carrier variant is currently in production, the aircraft provides combat capability for a large number of air forces across the world, including those of Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Syria, and Yemen.
