What does service accommodation for senior ranks, junior ranks, service families, office, mess and social facilities all have in common? At some time in their lifespan they are going to be in the wrong place, of the wrong size or to the wrong specification.Planning the accommodation of our armed forces and their families must be frustrating, with shifting priorities and policies over time. Who would want the job of predicting the size and content on any site for the lifespan of a new development?
