In a recent write up circulated by Pakistan-MEDIA@yahoogroups.com, the writer's comments about the past and the future of Indian Air Force could create a false sense of self delusion and denial. That the IAF could break from its alleged very high aircraft accident rate has not happened, and is unlikely. In the words of the writer, "In the last 40 years the IAF has crossed the landmark of crashing its 1000'th plane.. It is some record! The older planes and nonavailability of spares for some is the cause of the crashes.
