Hisense Launches Low-Priced Tablet At Walmart

Hisense has partnered with NVIDIA and Walmart on the release of its Sero 7 PRO ($149.99) and LT ($99.99) seven-inch tablets. The China-based manufacturer is also gearing up to launch a series of 4K UHD TVs in the U.S. market sometime during the fourth quarter. The first generation of the Sero 7 series will be sold exclusively through Walmart, while distribution of the next generation of tablets could include other select retail partners, said Peter Erdman, vice president of consumer electronics at Hisense.
