Israel's Osem to build €30.4m ice cream plant

Osem, one of the largest food manufacturers in Israel, plans to build a ILS150 million (€30.4m) Nestle ice cream plant in the country. The company, which is majority-owned by Nestle, intends to build the plant in a development town, making it eligible for an Investment Promotions Centre grant, reported globes, co. il. Osem raised a request for the grant when the minister of industry, trade and labour, Shalom Simhon, visited the company's current Nestle ice cream factory in Beer Tuvia last month.
