Kilree scoops top prize at British Cheese Awards

A goat's cheese called Kilree, made by Knockdrinna Farmhouse Cheese, County Kilkenny, has been crowned the supreme champion at the 18th British Cheese Awards, held last month in Cardiff. Entries included nearly 700 vegetarian cheeses, 170 raw milk cheeses, 110 organic, 60 blue and over 40 goat's and ewe's milk creations.
