Glanbia buys Tullamore liquid milk brand

Glanbia has bought the Tullamore Dairies liquid milk brand for an undisclosed sum. The family-owned business is one of Ireland's smallest milk processors, but has grown its market share through aggressive discounting. This saw its total volume sales grow by nearly 30% in the past year alone, when it supplied just over 620 000 litres of milk to retailers.
