A working day in the life of Craig Sparks

I arrive at work between 7.30 and 8.00am. The 20 year old building is in good condition and sits on the outskirts of an industrial estate, but my office looks out across farmland. It's semi-rural, a nice area. I turn on my mobile phone and then trawl through my e-mails. On average I receive around 50 e-mails a day - more if you count the attachments. My week starts with a video conference when I talk with the marketing and technical guys all over Europe. More often than not this goes without a hitch, but just occasionally we encounter technical difficulties. The system operates via an ISDN line, so its smooth running is dependent on the amount of phone traffic. We discuss what's happening on the customer front -who wants what, where and by when.
