I was the third generation of Forresters to work at the Express Foods creamery in Appleby, Westmorland in the UK, starting in a summer job and staying for eight years. While I had various roles during that time, including time at Reaseheath College, I most enjoyed cheese making and whey processing. This led me on to technical sales for Marshall Cultures, before a 20-year stint working in the food industry.rnNow I run Orchard Valley Dairy Supplies. I'm able to call on the commercial and marketing experience I gained in the food industry, and the knowledge of and connections in the dairy industry at the outset of my career.
