Saputo predicts challenging 2013

Canadian dairy giant Saputo has predicted the next year will "continue to be challenging," it says in its annual report. However, the company believes it is well-suited to be able to capitalise on the added-value milk category. Profits from the US division are very good, up 35.4% over 2011's revenue. In the US, the company is looking to increase its presence in the speciality cheese sector, and to expand its product offerings to all customers.
