Deutsches Milchkontor is continuing to invest in one of Europe's largest whey processing plants - the 4 million kg whey/day Alten-treptow drying facility in Germany. The foundations were laid back in 2006 but continued demand for dried whey products has meant capacity expansion there has never stopped, according to DMK. Main products from Altentreptow are whey protein concentrates (WPC) and lactose.
