Arla to sell SMP on auction site

Arla Foods has begun selling skimmed milk powder, processed at Westbury Dairies, in Wiltshire, on the Global Dairy Trade auction, from 17 December. It was the first time that a British dairy product has entered the auction, the company says. Commenting on the move, Ash Amirahmadi, head of Arla UK milk and member services says, "Not only is this a first for Arla in the UK, it is also a first for the British dairy industry.
