As hay milk products are getting increasingly popular in German speaking countries, Arla Foods is now following the trend and has now launched durable, one-litre meadow milk packs in Germany. There are two versions: 1.5% fat (RRP €1.09) and 3.5% (RRP €1.19). Remeo Gelato is available in the UK and made in Italy from 100% natural ingredients. Served in transparent jars, Remeo Gelato aims to recreate the Italian artisanal gelat-eria experience in a designer jar. Due to the unconventional shape, each jar has to be filled by hand and individually numbered for quality control. The gelato is 35% lower in fat and has a reduced air content compared to regular ice creams, using a slow churning method called mante-cazione verticale. Flavours include Italian espresso, Madagascan vanilla and pistachio Siciliano. Remeo Gelato is shipped from Italy every week in a refrigerated van. All are available in both 100ml and 500ml formats (pistachio only in 500ml).
