Germany's Uckermarker Milch dairy, a subsidiary of the Swiss Hochdorf Group, is repositioning itself. It plans to invest selectively in production technologies for products with high added value. As a result, the dairy is expected to close its quarkery on 31 October, as it can no longer be run profitably due to changes in the market.
