Mengniu and Ecolean promote sustainability

Mengniu Dairy and packager Ecolean joined together to initiate a Sustainability Awareness initiative to the community of Xinjiang, China. They launched a series of consumer activities such as "Saving Hero" interactive games, as well as a easy-access collection area for post-consumed Ecolean packages for recycling. During this programme users were, in exchange for one full package of Mengniu Ecolean yogurt, collecting and handing in ten empty Mengniu Ecolean packages. The "no waste" public benefit activity introduced by Mengniu Dairy in Xinjiang attracted the interest and participation of many consumers, the companies say.
