Meadow milk charter signed by Arla Germany

Arla Foods has signed the pasture charter with the Pro Weideland programme in Germany. This programme has nearly 30 institutions to strengthen grazing and nature oriented husbandry, with a positive influence for the environment. To receive the Pro Weideland quality seal, every dairy cow must have 2,000 square metres of forage available. This is permanent grassland with a positive impact on the environment and biodiversity, or as a renewable grassland, where farmers make contributions by, for example, planting flower strips.
