EDA asks for market management

During these times of corona-virus, there have been many differences of opinion both inside the European Union and outside, the European Dairy Association has reported. In a recent briefing, EDA president Michel Nalet (pictured) discussed the issues, noting, "For several weeks now, we have called upon the EU Commission to react on Covid-19 induced milk market disturbances in an adequate and proportionate manner and at the European level in activating the Private Storage Aid scheme for butter, powder and cheese, as foreseen in the CMO Regulation."
