摘要

The method of network planning and control(NPC)are classical methods for solution of the problems of control over projects. The idea of the NPC method is reflected by the content of its three stages, namely, structural planning, time scheduling, and real-time control. At the stage of structural planning, a projects is subdivided into parts that are individual works, and then the durations of these works are evaluated and a network model of the project is constructed. The objective of the next stage lies in constructing a schedule diagram specifying the moments of initiation and termination of each work, detection of "critical" project works, and determination of reserves of executing "uncritical" works.
