Food production and consumption embody essential natural and metabolic processes that cannot be completely controlled by capital or for capital [1,2,3~(**)]- Partly for this reason, food holds particular spatial configurative features no matter how globalised it may become, food systems - and their health and wellbeing attributes -inherently interact with (and shape) spaces and places [4].
