Joint seminar with the Law Society and HKICPA

The Institute jointly organised a seminar on 'Islamic finance' with the Law Society of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) on 29 October 2009. Daryl Ho, Head of Market Development Division, Hong Kong Monetary Authority; Musa Abdul Malek, Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad; and Shaikh Amirali B Nasir, JP, Council Member of the Law Society of Hong Kong; were the guest speakers. The joint seminar was hosted at HKUST Business School, Central. There was full attendance with over 90 attendees. They found the presentation extremely useful and informative.
