AREMA Conference Largest In History; RTA Members Attend, Exhibit

The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) held its 2009 Conference and Exposition Program Sept. 20-23, 2009, in Chicago.rnThe conference was very successful, according to AREMA President Bill Van Trump. "It was our largest conference ever, with 1,627 registrants. The exposition was also the largest ever with 178 booths. The Chicago Hilton proved to be an excellent location, and handled our needs very professionally."
