Hams Heed the Call as Natural Disasters Strike Worldwide

In Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, the week of March 19-25 is Tsunami Preparedness Week and the time to test the UNESCO Tsunami and Other Coastal Hazards Warning System for the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions with an annual tsunami exercise known as Caribe Wave. The objective is for countries, emergency managers, and communities at risk to test, validate, and update their tsunami response plans.
