You won't be surprised to learn that I see many articles, news releases, and other material that fights for my attention regarding the newest products, trends, and developments in the radio and communication fields. Periodically, I try to sort these out into my own list of communication-related topics of interest. Some trends make an entire column. Others, such as our topics this month, do not yet justify an entire column or are timely so they are in the "hodge-podge."
