MEPs have voted on new-measures that will ban users who repeatedly provide files for download on the internet.rnThe law called the Telecom Packet has been put forward to harmonise telecom markets throughout the EU but also contains a raft of amendments which are more far reaching. Amongst these are powers granted to the EU to decide on which software can be used for the internet as well as a Europe-wide three-strike law for repeat infringers of copyright on the net.
