Cyclopentadienyl cobalt(Ⅲ) complexes: Synthetic and catalytic chemistry

Cyclopentadienyl cobalt complexes have been known since 1953. In the recent years, they have attracted attention of chemists due to their application in C-H activation reactions. The review covers the synthesis of cyclopentadienyl cobalt(III) complexes with diverse auxiliary ligands (such as carbonyl, halides, solvents, arenes, amines, phosphines etc.) as well as their catalytic activity.
