摘要

The dissipative energy flow control technique for interconnected modal subsystems developed in a companion paper (Kishimoto et al., 1995 b) is now applied to structural subsystems. In this paper, two energy flow models for interconnected structures are derived, namely, the modal subsystem model, which views each mode as a subsystem, and the structural subsystem model, which views each substructure as a subsystem. These energy flow models provide alternative foundations for an energy flow control technique. Active feedback controllers based on both of these energy flow models are shown to reduce the vibration of a specified substructure.
