摘要

The Routh-Hurwitz criterion, introduced in most control systems courses, is a powerful method in determining the stability of a linear control system. This method has recently been the focus of several studies. Many of these studies concentrate on the case when the characteristic equation of the system furnishes roots on the imaginary axis and a zero appears in the entry of a certain row. This problem is denoted by the imaginary-axis zero problem.
