Special Issue of 21st Century Society: Journal of the Academy of Social Sciences

摘要

The world banking crisis grows out of problems of handing debt, but this is a topic that has many different facets, that can be illuminated by many different Social Science disciplines. This includes issues such as cultural, demographic and individual variations in attitudes to borrowing, the impact of socialization and education on individuals' financial habits, the assessment of risk, the politics of lending, the policies and practices of lenders, credit availability, and the structure of the banking industry. In recognition of the importance of this area, we would welcome original articles, including quantitative or qualitative studies, case studies, or careful critical reviews, dealing with any aspects of debt.
