摘要

This article presents a novel approach called camera-based multievent tracking involving minimum mean distant scalar leader determination for camera activation (CMT-MDSD). This method segregates the entire monitored region into a number of virtual compartments, and, in each of the compartments, scalar leaders (SLs) are effectively selected. When events occur, the chosen SLs operate as the representatives of all of the scalar sensors in each of the compartments and report the event information to their respective camera sensors.
