After 30 years of asking, the village of Barford in Warwickshire is finally getting a bypass in a £10 million scheme being built by Galliford Try. But, as site agent Danny Brown tells Alasdair Reisner, the firm had to overcome the small matter of some heavy lifting on a less-than-stable flood plain.
