Arup Upbeat After Bumper Results

Arup Group reported record turnover of ￡726 million for the year ending 31 March 2008, an increase of 27 per cent on the previous year. Pre-tax profits increased to ￡81 million, up from ￡48 million the previous year. Arup is owned by trusts, of which its 10,500 employees are beneficiaries, and the group was able to return more than ￡31 million of profits back to employees via its profit sharing scheme.
