Olympics Ahoy

The first 2012 Olympic venue will open tomorrow at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy in Dorset. Together with the Olympic Delivery Authority, main contractor Dean & Dyball has enhanced the existing facilities at the venue with a 250 m slipway and new race-boat parking, lifting and mooring facilities. The job is thought to have cost in the region of ￡8 million and was completed on time and on budget, with no reportable accidents on site.
