Construction Matters needs your backing

Last month's House of Commons Business and Enterprise Select Committee report deserved more attention from the construction press. Select Committees are the only effective means that the House of Commons has to challenge the Government. The report, Construction Matters, contained a number of well-argued and persuasive recommendations. The Government has until the end of October to respond. If the Select Committee does not like its response, they can require the Construction Minister to appear before it and justify the response.
