SG4 is acknowledged as the industry standard for erecting and dismantling scaffolds in the UK. In the period that has followed the introduction of the latest version (SG4:05) collective protection measures have developed considerably in terms of technology, choice, availability, cost and user friendliness.rnDue to these developments the NASC felt it was necessary to release an interim guidance (ahead of the next planned revision of SG4 in 2010) highlighting the benefits that can be derived when utilising collective protection measures by its regulated members and the wider industry.
