East London line extension project to tender this year

Transport for London is set to begin the procurement process for phase Ⅱ of the East London Line extension this year.rnThe project will complete the London Overground network linking Surrey Quays, Queen's Road Peckham and Clapham Junction, providing direct links between south London and the busy City and Docklands districts.rnTfL director of infrastructure London Overground Peter Richards said: "The main civil works package we're procuring will be to build a new railway between Surrey Quays and Queen's Road Peckham.
