Imperial College London has been granted planning permission by Hammersmith & Fulham Council for the first phase of a new campus at Wood Lane.rnThe campus will become a centre for scientific, technological, business and medical education.rnThe first phase will provide accommodation for 606 postgraduate students, together with family accommodation for Imperial researchers, lecturers and trainee doctors.rnThe aim Is to complete the first phase of the accommodation for the 2012/13 academic year.
