Revised output figures paint gloomy picture

Recent changes to forecasts from the Construction Products Association suggest that despite a blip in 2011, construction will continue its recovery out of a recession that wiped 11.5 per cent from its output in 2009.rnGrowth is expected to be 5.8 per cent between 2009 and 2014, with output rising from ￡91.8 billion to ￡97.2bn,but this change hides big variations between sectors.
