Figures paint a gloomy picture for beef producers

Most beef and sheep producers made a net loss in the year to April 2010, the latest figures from EBLEX have revealed. Top-third performers improved and widened the financial and technical gap between themselves and the average producer, but they still faced a loss on most systems before the single payment was included.
