Seddon reports fall in turnover and profits

Lancashire-based Seddon Construction has reported a 4 per cent drop in turnover for the year ended 31 December 2009.rnTurnover at the firm fell to ￡154.8 million from ￡l6lm in the prior year, while pre-tax profit was down 10 per cent to ￡4.5m in 2009.rnDuring the 2009 financial year, there was an exceptional charge of ￡930,000 as the value of the firm's land bank was written down.
