ODA procures new sustainable PVC

A new and more sustainable kind of PVC has been procured on the Olympic Stadium project, in a move that the Olympic Delivery Authority hopes will have a broad impact on the construction supply chain.rnThe ODA last year set out a demanding set of criteria for contractors procuring polyvinyl chloride, which is the second most used thermoplastic in the world. Contractors were required to find a version of the material that did not contain controversial phthalates, and that could be recycled, unlike conventional PVC.
