Styles & Wood turnover drops ￡105m

Fit-out specialist Styles & Wood last week reported a 43 per cent fall in turnover to ￡139.3 million in the 12 months to 31 December 2009.rnBut underlying pre-tax profits at the group increased from ￡200,000 in 2008 to ￡700,000.rnStyles & Wood chief executive Ivan McKeever said: "This has been an exceptionally challenging year for the group. At the start of the downturn we said, 'Let's get lean and let's do it quickly'."
